REMINDER
Canadian Goose Nesting Season
It is currently nesting season for the Canadian Goose, and several geese have been displaying aggressive breeding behavior. Please be aware of potential nesting areas on the golf course. Once a nest contains eggs, these areas must remain free from human interference.SunBird Golf Club continues to manage goose activity to the best of our ability. We have been working with Arizona Fish and Wildlife for some time regarding appropriate management practices and will continue following their guidance during nesting season.
The Rules of Golf allow free relief at the nearest point of relief when a nest reasonably interferes with a player’s stance, swing, or line of play.
Starting Tee Adjustments
Beginning immediately:
Mondays – Play will begin on the 1st Tee
Wednesdays – Play will begin on the 10th TeeCart Policy – Thank You
Members, thank you for your adoption and support of the updated cart policy. Along with our agronomy practices, your cooperation has already produced noticeable improvement in several trouble spots on the course. Your investment in the club truly goes a long way.A quick reminder: when pairing up and leaving a cart behind, please return spare carts to the parking lot below the Lakeview Room or along the cart path by the 1st tee. Please avoid leaving spare carts in the bag drop parking lot.
Thank you again for helping care for the course.
