The 18 Hole Ladies Association sponsors a Travel Team. This team is composed of the players with the 10 lowest handicaps who wish to join the team. Players compete in Match Play with 3 other executive courses in the East Valley: Ironwood, Sun Lakes, and Palo Verde. Matches usually take place from November through January.
Our team members are: Cindy Vig, Melissa Craig, Margie Leach, Karen Gilmore. Heather Verbitsky, Marcie Hogan, Wendie Cameron, Jackie Huyghebaert, Connie Franklin, Marsha Brockish and Viva Smith.
The SunBird Team was top of the league for three consecutive years, from 2012 – 2014 and lost out by half a point in 2015. Once again SunBird Team is top of the league for 2020.
